Questions worth asking first

Amble is in development, with a beta opening soon. Several answers below are that we do not know yet.

Is this medical advice?
No. Amble is a coaching tool, not a clinician. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace your doctor, and when something you describe should be looked at by a professional, it says so plainly and tells you to go and see one.
What if I have an injury or a health condition?
Tell the coach during the intake and whenever it changes. Amble writes around what you describe: different movements, shorter ranges, lighter loads. What it will not do is decide whether your shoulder is fine. If your description sounds like something that needs assessing, it stops and says so. If you take medication that affects your heart rate or blood pressure, talk to your prescriber before starting anything.
What if I miss a week?
Nothing bad happens. You tell the coach, the plan is rebuilt from where you actually are, and the load comes down slightly because a week off genuinely changes what you can handle. Your streak takes a freeze if one is left, there is no catch-up session, and no week in your history is marked red.
Do I need a gym?
No. The early weeks can be done at home with no equipment. If you have a gym, Amble will use it. If you get one later, the plan changes to suit.
What equipment helps most if I want to buy something?
A pair of adjustable dumbbells covers most of the first six months. Nothing else is necessary, and you should not buy anything before you have trained for a month. Equipment does not cause consistency.
How much time does it take?Source 1
You tell it how much time you actually have, including if that is twenty minutes twice a week, and the plan is written to fit that rather than argue with it. Two to three sessions a week is a legitimate place to start rather than a reduced version of a real plan.
How does it handle food and supplements together?Source 2,3
As one plan, not two. Food targets move with the training week, so a training day and a rest day do not look the same. Supplements are only suggested where they cover a gap the food does not, and every dose is shown against EU nutrient reference values so you can see how much of a reference intake it represents. Product labels are checked against what is actually declared rather than what is advertised.
Where does your food data come from?Source 4,5
Livsmedelsverket, the Swedish Food Agency, for foods bought in Sweden, and USDA FoodData Central for the rest. Country matters more than people expect: Swedish minced beef is commonly sold at different fat percentages from the American equivalent, so the same recipe name can carry meaningfully different calories depending on which database you use.
What data do you store, and where?
What you give us: your email, your intake answers, your logged sessions and meals, and what you tell the coach. It is stored securely in the EU. It is never sold, and it is never used for advertising.
Can I export or delete it?
Yes, both, whenever you like, without contacting support and without a retention offer. Deletion means deletion, not deactivation.
Is this a subscription, and what does it cost?
Yes, at launch: 99 kr per month or 790 kr per year. Nothing is charged during the beta, and there is nothing to buy today.
When does it launch?
There is no date. Amble is in development with a beta opening soon, and the early access list is how you hear first. We would rather miss a launch date than invent one.
What makes this different from a normal workout app?
A normal workout app gives you a programme and treats deviation as failure. Amble treats deviation as the input. You say what happened in one sentence, and the plan is rewritten around it, with the training, the food and the supplements moving together. That loop is the product. Everything else is packaging.
What does it not do?
It does not scan barcodes, sync with wearables, count your steps, offer a Swedish interface yet, or connect you to a human coach. It will not tell you that you can lose a specific number of kilos in a specific number of weeks, because nobody can honestly promise that. And it does not have users to show you: there is no user count, no rating and no testimonial on this site, because the product has not launched.
Is there really no AI hype here?
The AI does one job: turning what you tell it about your week into a revised plan, in plain language. That is a real use of the technology, and it is the only claim we make for it.

Still in development

Amble has not launched. There is nothing to download or buy today. The beta opens soon, and the early access list is how you hear about it first.
